Accessibility statement
Prepare Now UK is designed toward WCAG 2.2 AA. Automated checks support the work but do not prove that every person can use every page.
What the site supports
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus and a skip link.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists and native controls.
- High text contrast without using yellow as the brand or navigation colour.
- Warning text that does not rely on colour alone.
- Reflow for small screens and high zoom.
- Reduced-motion and increased-contrast preferences.
- System fonts, print styles and a low-data text route.
- Meaningful link text and source names.
Known limitations
This first release does not yet provide complete Easy Read, Welsh-language, audio or BSL versions of every original page. Linked official services vary in accessibility and are outside our control. Browser print output can differ between devices.
Alternative formats
Use the low-data guide for a compact text route. Use the offline page for printing and saving guidance. The GOV.UK Prepare additional-needs page includes Easy Read and BSL resources.
